Prior to founding Westfalenfinanz, he held senior positions in manufacturing companies across finance, M&A and strategy, and worked as a project manager at a Big Four firm in transaction services. He holds an MBA in General Management from Stellenbosch University and is a certified Qualified Negotiator with a strong track record in complex negotiations.

Steffen is a volunteer board member of the German Institute for Business Succession and a member of the Dortmund Chamber of Industry and Commerce. He also serves as a speaker at the IFU Institute on buying and selling companies.
